Overwiew:

A gateway module is a hub that interconnects and transfers data across the many different networks in a secure, reliable, and dependable manner. It is supposed to provide physical isolation between different ECU’s (controlling various sensors and actuators) and protocol portability/translation to route signals between functional domains in other smart control devices (for e.g. intelligent curtain module, dimming module, relay module) that share data. In short, the Gateway module acts as a router and enables communication between multi-protocol and connected services. On the whole, the gateway module is the most basic and significant  device of the entire intelligent control system. Without a gateway module, it is hard to realize intelligent control.

Omni intelligent gateway module which uses RS485 communication protocol, adopts 35mm standard rail track  installation, built-in 2.4G Wi-Fi chip, is easy to be installed and connected with APP. APP Connecting instruction: 

Add the gateway module

1. Scan the QR code to download the Omni APP.
2. Open the Omni APP,  Use the "Scan" function to scan the QR code on the gateway module or manually enter the ID to add the gateway module. For 1st time connection, Select the wireless mode for network configuration after entering the name, and enter the WIFI password(Not Support 5G). From 2nd time, if network configuration keeps  unchanged, choose a wired connection and skip the configuration process to reconfigure the network, just select the wireless mode and  enter the new WIFI password. 

Add other modules to the gateway module

1. After you add the gateway module successfully, click the gateway module part on the APP, then click the "setting" option on the top right and find the option called"Add devices quickly"
2. Clik the "Add devices quickly" option, Choose the device type and quantity that you want to add to.
3. Click " Create device", change the name and ID( It's ok to use the default name and ID if you prefer ), enter the number.
4. Click the pairing button to save. After adding you can select the family and room of the device

Installation instruction: 

Installation method: 35mm standard DIN rail mounting.There are grooves on the back, stuck the gateway module to the 35mmDIN rail.

Wiring: 

1. You need to plug in a power module and lower the voltage to 12V. (Our company also provides power modules, please contact us for product information)
2. At the bottom of the gateway module, we marked CAN interface,±12V interface and RS485 communication interface (A1 B1 is 485 port 1, A2 B2 is 485 port 2 and A3 B3 is 485 port 3). You need to connect the Rs485 cable from the 12V positive and negative interface of the power module to the ±12V interface of the gateway module, and then connect the Rs485 cable to the corresponding Rs485 communication interface according to the sub-device you want to connect. please see the details at the wiring diagram.

The sub-devices connected by each RS485 communication interface are as follows:

485 port 1 connects to the drive module, dimming module, 485 port 2 connects to the switch panel Air conditioning panels, etc..
